To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.

So, the series that I’ve been watching has just ended. It was my first time to actually follow a Korean series that is currently airing. The show is titled 넌 내게 반했어(You’ve Fallen for Me) in Korean, ‘Heartstrings’ in English (I just learned that it was by vote how they picked the English title). The drama is about music, rivalry, campus life, friendship and love. Although I was really excited for the first few episodes because of the theme and the music, it came to me as draggy towards the end, with the sudden changes in the personality of the characters. I was also disappointed with the ending cause the plot became unpredictable, in a bad way. It felt like I want to rewrite the story of the last episode. It also didn’t gain much success here in Korea. (Though I heard some people abroad are hooked in it). Nonetheless, the music and the inspiration that it might still makes it worth watching, just don’t expect for the best story line from this drama.
